This website — a fast, content-first personal site with a markdown publishing pipeline.

The problem
I wanted a home on the web that I own — for my work, my writing, and a public record of what I'm thinking about. No platform, no algorithm, no lock-in.
What I built
A content-first personal site where everything is a markdown file in a git
repository. Writing a post is: create a file, git push, and it's live —
with RSS, sitemap, structured data, and reading time handled automatically.
Interesting decisions
- No CMS. Markdown files in git are the database. The publishing workflow is the same as the development workflow.
- Fully static. Every page prerenders at build time, so the site is fast from anywhere and there's nothing to keep running.
- One config file. Every personal detail on the site — bio, projects, tools, links — lives in a single typed config, so nothing drifts out of sync.
Outcome
You're looking at it. The colophon has the full stack.
